Bio
Sean “Scoe Romero” Driscoll is a 30-year-old mental health professional, musician, and entrepreneur. With 10 years of experience in the mental health field, he began as a residential crisis facilitator and now serves as a consultant at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where he trains peer support specialists in Maryland’s Early Intervention programs—one he attended as a patient from 2012–2014.
Sean’s journey reflects resilience and an unconventional path to recovery. After experiencing side effects from a medication tied to a lawsuit for nearly a decade, he chose to become medication-free in 2023 while living with bipolar I. His advocacy now focuses on treatment autonomy, sharing his eastern- and western-inspired self-care routine while teaching the neuroscience behind it. He credits his stability to disciplined daily habits and a proactive, self-empowered mindset.
Inspired by his experiences of not feeling heard or trusted, Sean co-created the Beyond Limits Installation through Be Limitless LLC. This leadership training helps people better understand themselves and others to build more connected, compassionate cultures. Through his music, speaking, and advocacy, Sean hopes to help create a world with fewer limits than the one he experienced.
