New National Voting Education Campaign for People with Mental Health and Substance Use Conditions Kicks Off!

A new voting education campaign focusing on educating and encouraging people with lived experience of mental health and/or addiction related conditions to register and vote was launched today by the POWER (People Organized for Wellness, Empowerment and Recovery) Coalition. “Nothing About Us Without Our Vote” campaign materials were widely distributed to a broad variety of organizations from across the nation featuring the release of a Comprehensive Voter Education Guide for People with Lived Experience.

Please share these materials across our communities throughout the nation. In the spirit of informed choice, we want everyone’s voice to be heard at the ballot box this fall!   Special thanks to Laura Van Tosh for her extraordinary leadership on this project.

ISPS-US is a proud member of the POWER-C and is dedicated to our shared mission to strengthen holistic health, rights protection and wellbeing in the United States for people experiencing mental health and/or addiction conditions and their communities (families, neighborhoods, etc.), through national advocacy and activism, and system and policy reform.
