The wait is over! We are delighted to announce that the preliminary schedule for the 25th Annual ISPS-US Conference: Psychosis and the Social Link is now available.
From November 6–8, 2026, hundreds of clinicians, researchers, people with lived experience, family members, students, and advocates will gather in New York City and online for three days of dialogue, learning, and community. Hosted at John Jay College of Criminal Justice with hybrid access via Zoom, this landmark conference marks 25 years of ISPS-US bringing together diverse perspectives to advance humane, relational, and rights-based approaches to understanding psychosis.
This year's theme, Psychosis and the Social Link, asks an urgent question: What changes when we understand psychosis not simply as an individual disorder, but as something that emerges within relationships, communities, and society itself?
Drawing on psychological, social, psychoanalytic, systemic, cultural, and lived experience perspectives, the conference explores how experiences often described as "psychosis" are deeply connected to trauma, social exclusion, inequality, belonging, and the possibility of healing through relationship.
