Blogging is hard work… I should have brought Nessie with me

Phew, I know I promised y’all live blogging but…

1. Austen Riggs has a mysterious no cell-phone service and no wi-fi hex, so I can only blog when I am actually IN the Red Lion Inn.

2. I’m not used to paying so much attention and taking notes for blogging, and I am tired!

Nessie, by the way, is one of my best friends and closest colleagues a.k.a. The Nespresso automatic espresso maker who is parked in my office today and did not take the road trip up to Stockbridge. Next time, I won’t make that mistake.

Meanwhile, I am going to speak with ISPS-US President, Brian Koehler, about  making some excerpts from his erudite talk this morning on Schizophrenia in the 21st Century: Integration of Recent Research on Brain, Mind & Culture available online on the blog. I’ll keep you posted.

I’ve still got lots of notes on the conference and plan to share more of my observations later this week. I hope some of you will join me in sharing your experiences at the conference.

Right now, I gotta go Chair the Roundtable Discussion on Stigma with Joanne Greenberg, Alice Maher, Melinda Payne Sanders and David Stark.

Your Humble Servant,

Jessica Arenella
