PARKING

We strongly advise you to take public transportation or a taxi because of limited parking on campus. If you drive to the meeting, please plan to arrive early so you can find parking. Parking fees are subject to change.

Friday, park in any of these lots:
1. The Kenmore Lot, located at 549 Commonwealth Ave. $16.00 per day
2. The Granby Lot, located at 665 Commonwealth Ave. - $16.00 per day
3. The Agganis Garage, located at 925 Commonwealth Ave. $13.00 per day

Saturday and Sunday, park in:

The Warren Towers Garage, located at 700 Commonwealth Ave. - $13.00 per day

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
The Massachusetts Bay Transit System (MBTA) , called the T, is color-coded by line: Red, Blue, Orange, and Green. The Green Line 'B' train passes right through the Boston University Charles River campus, continuing from Kenmore Square up along Commonwealth Avenue on the street level.

Friday: Photonics Center. Take the T to the Boston University East stop on the B Branch of the Green Line. Go west on Commonwealth Ave. and turn left on St. Marys St. The Photonics Center is on the left.

Saturday and Sunday: One Silber Way. Take the T to the Blandford Street stop on the B Branch of the Green Line. Go west on Commonwealth Ave. and turn right on Silber Way. One Silber Way is on the right.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From the North:
Take I-93 South to Boston. After the bridge, take the Storrow Drive/Cambridge exit. Follow Storrow Drive approximately 2 miles to the Kenmore Square exit. Follow local directions below.

From the Southeast:
Take I-95 or Route 3 North to I-93 North into Boston. Take exit 26 onto Storrow Drive and follow 2 miles to the Kenmore Square exit. Follow local directions.

From the South:
Tale I-95 N to New Haven, CT. Then take I-91 N to Hartford, where you will get I-84 East. Follow this to I-90 East, the Massachusetts Turnpike. Follow the directions from the West.

From the West:
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) East to Exit 18, Brighton/Cambridge. Follow the right side of the ramp towards Cambridge. At the bottom of the ramp there will be several traffic lights. Turn right at the hotel onto Storrow Drive. Exit Storrow Drive at the Kenmore Square exit. Follow local directions.

Local Directions:
From the Kenmore Square exit off Storrow Drive, follow the ramp to traffic lights. Turn right onto Beacon Street. At this point, the road will fork. Follow the left side of fork into Kenmore Square and at the second traffic light, bear right onto Commonwealth Ave. For the Photonics Center, turn left on St. Mary's St. and it is on the left. One Silber Way is at the corner of Commonwealth Ave. and Silber Way.

AIRPORT:
Boston Logan International Airport


Taxi
The fare to Boston University's Charles River Campus from Logan Airport should be around $45. When traffic is light, the taxi ride will take about 20 minutes. During peak hours, the ride could take 45 minutes or more.

MBTA Shuttle & Subway
The most direct way to BU via the "T" is to purchase a Charlie Card or Charlie Ticket , then take the Silver Line SL1 bus from your terminal to South Station. Transfer to the Red Line inbound towards Alewife and take it to the Park Street Station stop. Take the Green Line Train B towards Boston College. See Public Transportation.

Driving
Take MA-1A S. Take MA-28 S and Storrow Dr. See Local Directions.

TRAIN
Amtrak Back Bay Station is the closest to BU. From the station, go north on Dartmouth St. Turn left on Boylston St. Enter Copley Station. Take the Green Line Train B towards Boston College. See Public Transportation.

BUS

Several bus companies serve the South Station Bus Terminal (Bolt, Boston Express, Greyhound, Megabus, Peter Pan, etc.). To get to BU on the T, take the Red Line inbound towards Alewife and take it to the Park Street Station stop. Take the Green Line Train B towards Boston College. See Public Transportation above.
